How to make a claim :

  • Please seek medical attention immediately. Please consult our list of suggested doctors or you may go to any licensed physician/clinic of your choice.
  • Collect all receipts/invoices/medical statements from your visit.
  • Complete a copy of our claim form (located under Forms). Submit the claim form along with all receipts/invoices to our claims department.

  • Please note that we will need the ORIGINAL copies of all documents. Please save a copy before submitting your claim.
  • For claims less than $1,000 please complete claims forms and send along with scanned receipts of any eligible expenses incurred to IA via email at specialmarkets-claims@ia.ca c.c. your Representative.

Q: How long does it take to receive the cheque for my claim?
A: If all required documents are received, the reimbursement cheque usually issued within two days. Contact me or our claims department about any concern with your claim

Q: Do you require doctor signature on the claim form?
A: Doctor signature is not necessary as long as you have official receipts

Q: Do I need to pay first when I see a doctor?
A: Yes, you need to pay up-front unless you are an “In-patient”

Q: Where can I pick-up my insurance package?
A: There will be no package, everything can be printed from this website, your School or your agency Representative
